The Parliament adopted in the first reading the European integration bill on the drainage of sewage from the settlements. This was reported by the press service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
“The goal is to ensure the rights of citizens to receive high-quality centralized drainage; reduce the negative impact of wastewater on the environment,” the statement said.
The document provides:
– legal, economic and organizational bases for the functioning of centralized decentralized drainage systems;
– ensuring the sustainable functioning of the drainage system;
– local rules for receiving wastewater in centralized settlement drainage systems;
– Guarantees of consumer rights in this area.
