Russia continues to kill civilians on the territory of Ukraine, pelting peaceful cities and villages with stones.

On January 12, two civilians were killed in the Donetsk region, killed by the Russians in Blagodatnoe and Avdeevka. This was announced by the head of OVA, Pavel Kirilenko.

Two other people were also injured.

Since the beginning of the massive offensive in Donbass, 1,299 civilians have been killed and 2,842 people have been injured. At the same time, it is currently impossible to establish the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Also, Russian troops are not stopping strikes in the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region. At night, the invaders shelled the settlement of Marganet from heavy artillery. The consequences of the attack are being investigated.

The General Staff reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled attacks near 17 settlements in Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
