Police investigators have evidence of imprisoning entire families with minor children in dungeons.
In the Kharkiv region, one of the types of torture used by the occupiers in their torture rooms is cutting teeth, pulling out nails and electric shocks. This was said by Volodymyr Tymoshko, head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, in an interview with Ukrinform.
“Most often, severe beatings and electric shock torture were used. Gas masks were actively used, people were restrained. In addition, there were cases of pulling out nails and sawing teeth with a file. Examination of the bodies that were caught in de- occupied territories showed that there was torture with genital damage. Usually men,” he said.
According to Tymoshko, police investigators have evidence of detaining entire families with minor children in dungeons.
“We have facts that even children, teenagers aged 14-16, are in dungeons. There is both physical and, of course, moral influence. Girls are threatened with rape. We have testimony of a minor taken from home with his parents. He said, that they always come to him and say every time: You will be happy. The child is in the cell and understands that at any moment they can do anything suits him,” the law enforcement official said.
It should be recalled that more than five thousand cases of torture were recorded in the liberated territories.
