Albania will support Ukraine and its people with all its strength until it defeats Russia, Tirana said.
Albania has decided to open its embassy in Ukraine for the first time in 30 years. The diplomatic mission is located in Kyiv, Albanian Foreign Minister Olta Jachka told Twitterr on Thursday, January 12th.
“Both Albania and Ukraine are part of the family of independent democratic states, the future of both countries lies in the Euro-Atlantic family. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations, I am pleased to announce that Albania will raise the level of diplomatic representation in Kyiv and open an embassy in Ukraine,” he said.
The minister noted that both countries have gone from tyranny to democracy, and also noted the heroic struggle of Ukrainians for the preservation of freedom.
“Albania will support Ukraine and its people with all its strength until it defeats Russia, which has unleashed an illegal war of aggression,” assured the head of the Foreign Ministry.
