The illegal presence of Russian troops on the territory of Moldova is a factor of instability for the republic.
Moldova intends to demand the peaceful withdrawal of Russian troops from Transnistria. This is what the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, Nicu Popescu, said in an interview with TV8.
“We have always said that the illegal presence of Russian troops on the territory of Moldova is a factor of instability both for the republic and for the region. The only way we want to achieve this goal (removal of troops Russian from the region – ed .) is through diplomacy, negotiation and dialogue on the part of Russia and Pridnestrovie,” insisted Popescu.
Earlier, Moldovan President Maia Sandu said that she has nothing to discuss with Russia, which is an aggressor country.
