The US expects oil prices to drop

The EIA predicts that in 2023 a barrel of Brent will be 18% cheaper than in 2022, and the average price in 2022 is adjusted to $100.94/bbl.

The US Department of Energy predicts a drop in oil prices. According to the monthly forecast of the Ministry’s Energy Information Administration (EIA), for 2023, the price of Brent oil is expected to decrease from $92/bbl to $83/bbl.

The EIA predicts that in 2023 a barrel of Brent will be 18% cheaper than in 2022, and the average price in 2022 is adjusted to $100.94/bbl.

By 2024, the EIA predicts further declines in prices as global oil reserves rise to $78/bbl.

Earlier it was reported that the G7 is planning two marginal prices for Russian oil products.
