The head of government explained that social support is planned to be adapted to war and post-war conditions.
The Ukrainian government aims to develop the Social Code of Ukraine by 2023. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmygal at a government meeting on Tuesday, January 10.
“For 2023, we plan to further adapt social support to war and post-war conditions. We have ambitions to develop and promote the adoption of the Social Code of Ukraine,” said the head of government.
According to him, it is planned to include all elements of society here, taking into account the philosophy of targeting and overcoming difficult circumstances in a person’s life.
“In the pension sector, we plan to build a funded pension. It is very important to give Ukrainians the opportunity to take care of their old age at a young age,” Shmyhal emphasized.
It should be remembered that Shmyhal previously noted that international partners have given Ukraine almost one trillion hryvnias by 2022.
In addition, the head of government announced that the Cabinet of Ministers in 2023 will approve the Strategy for the transition from military service to civilian life and a plan of measures for its implementation. The new program aims to help war veterans.
