The next meeting of the Ramstein group will take place next week. This is what NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a press conference in Brussels on January 10, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
“We will meet next week in Ramstein, the US-led contact group providing support to Ukraine. There we will meet with the Ukrainian defense minister to discuss what specific weapons are needed and how allies can provide the those weapons,” he said.
However, the NATO Secretary General did not specify the date of the group’s upcoming meeting.
Earlier, on the website of the German Ministry of Defense, it was reported that the next meeting of the Contact Group for the Defense of Ukraine in the Ramstein format was announced on January 20, 2023.
Recall that the United States announced a record aid package to Ukraine. This includes additional HIMARS, HUMVEE and MRAP armored vehicles, Sea Sparrow anti-aircraft missiles, M2 Bradley light tanks.
