In Mariupol, occupied by the Russian Federation, an international compulsory passport of the population began. This was announced on January 10 by the adviser to the mayor of the city, Petr Andryushchenko.
He clarified that from January 1, obtaining Russian passports will be mandatory for all teachers, doctors, police and civil servants.
“From March 1, it will be impossible to engage in business activities in Mariupol without a Russian passport,” the adviser added.
In addition, according to Andryushchenko, judges, lawyers, attorneys must be accredited by “DPR” before March 1. There is no corresponding “law”, but they were warned verbally about it, he said.
Earlier it was reported that the occupiers were in a hurry to forcibly deport residents of the Lugansk region, including children.
