Russia’s military and shipbuilders are trying to shift responsibility for bringing Russia’s only aircraft carrier to a critical state Admiral Kuznetsov, which is currently located in a shipyard in Murmansk. “In order to continue repairs, a decision was recently made to move the ship from dry dock to one of the shipyard’s berths. However, even at the stage of preparation for the move, it turned out that the cruiser was unable to move under its own power,” said RHO.
After that, an attempt was made to move the aircraft carrier with the help of several tugs, however, this became impossible due to the critical condition of the ship’s hull. It is not yet possible to determine who exactly decided to move the ship, “said the intelligence service.
The command of the fleet submitted penalties for one and a half billion rubles to the management of the plant for failure to meet deadlines for repairs and non-fulfillment of the contract. The management of the enterprise published a letter in which it pleaded not guilty to bringing the ship into such a deplorable state.
“With a high degree of probability, the military representation at the plant in charge of the progress of the work has been found guilty. According to the available data, now there is not even an estimated time frame for the completion of the repair. Admiral Kuznetsov and his return to service,” the GUR summarized.
