Russia and Belarus to hold joint air exercises

On Sunday, January 8, aviation from the Military Space Forces of the Russian Armed Forces arrived in Belarus.

Russia and Belarus will conduct a joint tactical flight exercise from January 16 to February 1, the Belarusian state agency BELTA reported, citing the Belarusian Defense Ministry.

The joint tactical flight exercise with the aviation units of the armed forces of Belarus and Russia, which is part of the aviation component of the RGV (C), will be held from January 16 to February 1, the Ministry of Defense reported.

“During the tactical flight exercise, all airfields and training areas of the Air Force and Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus will be involved,” the message said.

On Sunday, aviation from the Military Space Forces of the Russian Armed Forces arrived in Belarus.

Recall that the Russian ground forces plan to conduct nine international exercises in 2023.
