The conquerors concentrated their main efforts on cutting Soledar off from Bakhmut. The OP’s adviser did not rule out that Soledar could be caught.

Russian troops are trying to cut off Soledar from Bakhmut and cut the Soledar-Slavyansk road. This was announced on Saturday, January 7, by Aleksey Arestovich, an adviser to the Office of the President, on Feigin Live.

“Their main effort is to cut Soledar from Bakhmut and cut the Soledar-Slavyansk road. Here they are advancing in two languages. Their advance is clear. I think everyone has seen the picture. They will not take the Soledar, I don’t know, maybe they will take it, maybe they won’t,” said Arestovich, adding that the invaders “definitely will not take Bakhmut.”

It will be recalled that on Saturday, Russian propagandists reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly received an order to leave the city, but this was rejected by Ukraine. The Donetsk OVA said that Soledar remains under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Earlier it was reported that snipers of the border guard stopped the enemy attack near Bakhmut.
