Over the past day, the occupiers have shelled Kherson and the region dozens of times. As a result, one person died and seven were injured. This was announced on January 7 by the head of Kherson OVA, Yaroslav Yanushevich.
“Russian invaders fired 39 times on the territory of the Kherson region. Peaceful settlements of the region were attacked from artillery, MLRS, mortars and tanks,” he said.
According to Yanushevich, the Russian army covered Kherson with fire nine times – residential areas of the city were hit, private and apartment buildings, the territory and the building of the fire and rescue unit were damaged.
Recall that the invaders attacked four settlements in the Donetsk region in the past day. Due to the shooting, two civilians were killed and seven others were injured.
It was also reported that Russian troops fired artillery into the waters of the Ochakovo settlement.
