In the directions of Volyn and Polesye, the enemy did not take active actions. The divisions of the republic’s armed forces continue to occupy the border with the Brest and Gomel regions.
There remains the threat of enemy missile attacks on military and civilian infrastructure facilities throughout Ukraine from the territory of the Republic of Belarus, as well as enemy provocations in the specified section of the state border of Ukraine , the General Staff report.
In the direction of Seversk, enemy units fired on the positions of our troops from the territory of the Bryansk region.
A difficult situation was noted in the direction of Slobozhansky: the enemy group continued to conduct air strikes and fired artillery at Kharkov. The occupiers were conducting offensive operations in the direction of Izyum – Barvenkovo and Izyum – Slavyansk. The enemy’s strike force continues to strengthen. Up to 300 units of weapons and military equipment were moved to some areas, and about a thousand mobilized people came from the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
For the purpose of air defense of advancing troops in four specific areas, the enemy deployed two anti-aircraft divisions armed with Buk-M2 air defense system and Tor-M air defense system.
In the direction of Donetsk and Tauride, the group of enemy troops conducted active operations throughout the section of the confrontation line. The enemy is trying to conduct air strikes and fire artillery against the positions of Ukrainian troops.
In the direction of Limansky, the enemy conducts an offensive in the direction of Krymka and Aleksandrovka.
In the direction of Popasnyansky, the occupiers conducted attack operations in the direction of Novotoshkovskoye-Orekhovo and consolidated the achievement lines, blocking Ukrainian forces in some areas.
In the direction of Kurakhovsky, the enemy is trying to break the defense of our units in the direction of Olenevka – Novomikhailovka.
Under the direction of Yuzhnobuzhsky, the enemy conducted military operations to reach the administrative borders of the Kherson region and create favorable conditions for an attack on Nikolaev and Krivoy Rog.
According to the General Staff, the previous day, air defense units hit nine enemy air targets: two Su-25 aircraft and seven UAVs.
It was also reported that in the territory alone of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions the previous day, nine enemy attacks were repelled, eight tanks, an artillery system, twenty-four armored vehicles, a special vehicle and five vehicles ( including two tankers) were destroyed.
It will be recalled that on Saturday, April 30, a video appeared showing the destruction of Russian military tanks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the help of the Ukrainian-made Stugna anti-tank missile system. Four tanks were damaged in three minutes.
