Finland may supply Ukraine with Leopard 2 battle tanks, subject to the adoption of an appropriate European decision. This was said by the chairman of the Defense Committee, Antti Hakkänen, reports MTV Uutis.
“If Europe starts giving tanks to Ukraine even an inch more, Finland should be involved. Of course, with our small contribution, because our own defense capability is always a priority for us as a border of country in Russia,” he said.
According to Hakkyanen, many European countries have more opportunities to provide Ukraine with armored vehicles than Finland.
It will be remembered that Finland will send Ukraine another package of military aid worth 28.8 million euros.
Finland has also reportedly sent power equipment to Ukraine.
