Russian troops have begun using Orlan-10 reconnaissance drones to drop fragmentation grenades.
Recently, through electronic warfare, Ukrainian troops “grounded” the Russian Orlan-10 with two cassette suspensions in the FOG. This was announced by the Deputy Commander of the Ground Forces, General Alexander Pavlyuk.
“The enemy is trying to use its reconnaissance UAVs to destroy ground targets by dropping fragmentation munitions. It is possible that civilian targets could become enemy targets,” Pavlyuk said.
He assured that the Defense Forces are in control of the situation and are taking necessary steps to protect the skies from enemy drones as much as possible.
Earlier, in the Kharkiv region, border guards shot down a Russian drone from small arms. The Russians signed it as “helicopter”.
