Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that in Ukraine there is no need to announce mass mobilization. He is currently in “quiet mode”. He said this on the air of the telethon.
“We are getting more, we are replenishing, there are also losses, unfortunately, we are continuing the losses of our combat brigades, we are hiring some special specialists that we need for some activities, but the need for such mass mobilization at the moment. I do not see,” he said.
According to Reznikov, the Ukrainian authorities are currently not using the 100% potential provided by the mobilization announced on February 24, 2022.
“But, of course, the situation at the front can change at any moment, therefore, depending on how events develop, the decision of the National Security and Defense Council, the president, the Verkhovna Rada will be made, and then it will be made. public that we are increasing the needs of the security and defense sector, we need more mobilization,” said the head of the Defense Ministry.
Earlier, the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Anna Malyar, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine need to compensate for the losses and return the wounded soldiers.
