On January 5, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a telephone conversation with Croatian Prime Minister Andriy Plenkovic. They agreed on concrete decisions to strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities. Zelensky announced this on Telegram.

“He had a meaningful conversation with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic. He congratulated Croatia on joining the euro zone and the Schengen area. We agreed on specific decisions to strengthen Ukraine’s defense, as well as holding of an international conference on demining,” he said. .

According to Zelensky, in talks with Plenkovic, they decided on Croatia’s role in the peace formula.
