“One of the factors for the success of the fight against the flight of evil spirits for us is the availability. At the moment, the unit uses motorized vehicles and an ATV. The air defense of the brigade also has ZIL- 131, but it is not suitable for direct work at the front end. Now the weather and the insufficient carrying capacity of motor vehicles hinder the possibilities of our soldiers: it is not always possible to get to the right place at the right time with the right set of “tools” to ensure security in the right place,” said Denis, an air defense fighter who is currently undergoing rehabilitation after being injured.
To simplify the task of “being in the right place,” the unit needs an all-wheel drive SUV. The estimated cost of such a machine in normal condition is from 250,000 UAH. Some additional money will be used to prepare the car for service (suspension, tires, etc.).
