Russian troops are regrouping and intensifying attacks in eastern Ukraine. This was announced by the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Oleksandr Motuzyanyk at a briefing on April 30.
“The main objective of the enemy remains unchanged so far – to surround the group of Ukrainian Defense Forces, to establish full control over the territory of the Donetsk, Lugansk, and Kherson regions, to ensure the stability of the land corridor in occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, ”said the speaker of the Ministry of Defense.
According to him, enemy troops are gradually increasing the intensity of the offensive in eastern Ukraine simultaneously in all directions, but the most active action is observed in the directions of Slobozhansky and Donetsk.
In addition, signs of the Russian Federation’s preparation for a greater intensification of hostilities were expressed.
As Motuzyanik said, this was indicated by the enemy’s individual preparatory actions.
Thus, at Balakliya Central Clinical District Hospital, the beds were vacated and an additional field hospital was equipped. And in Rostov-on-Don, on the territory of a military clinical hospital, additional refrigeration units have been deployed to store the bodies of dead servicemen.
