Prosecutors of the prosecutor’s office of the Kherson region filed an indictment against a resident of Kherson on the facts of collaboration and conspiracy with the aggressor state (part 3 of article 111-1, part 1 of article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). This was announced on January 3 by the Office of the Attorney General.
The investigation found that in June 2022, a professor at the Kherson State Maritime Academy agreed to cooperate with the enemy.
He took the pseudo-position of the “rector” of the educational institution that had been acquired by the invaders. The accused conducted an inventory of the material values of the academy, organized the educational process in accordance with the educational standards of the aggressor state with the general use of Russian as the official language.
The suspect is currently on the wanted list.
Earlier, prosecutors filed indictments against the occupying “chairman of the military-civilian administration of the Kherson region”, his deputy and the so-called “chairman of the Kherson city administration.”
