NASA fears that China will declare the moon its territory

USA facing a new space race, at least according to the vision Bill NelsonNASA administrator.

In an interview with political, Nelson was talking about China and expansion of the Asian giant in Moon.

“It’s a fact, we’re in a space race,” he said. He also warned: “It is true that we must be vigilant and see that they (China) do not have a place on the Moon, passing it off as scientific research. It is possible that they will say: “Stay away, we are here, this is our territory.”

A precedent on Earth for China’s expansion?

Bill Nelson pointed to the act China in that South China Sea as a precedent for what we might see in Moon.

“When in doubt, look at what they did in the Spartan Islands.”

China established bases on the islands South China Sea in an attempt to claim space over which several countries claim sovereignty.

NASA is back on the moon

Astronauts have not set foot on Earth since 1972. Moon. Program Artemis belonging POT seeks to return with a crew to Moonas preparation for a more ambitious goal: to achieve Mars.
