NATO must increase arms production – Secretary General

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said Russia’s war against Ukraine is dragging on, and Kyiv’s need for technology is growing.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said the Alliance must increase weapons production by 2023 as Russia’s war against Ukraine drags on and Kyiv’s need for equipment grows. Radio Liberty writes about it.

According to the Secretary General, the maintenance of weapons systems already delivered to Ukraine is as important as the supply of additional weapons.

“For example, for artillery we need more ammunition, we need spare parts. We need to increase production, and that’s what the allies are doing,” Stoltenberg said.

The Secretary General added that NATO must also be ready to support Ukraine in the long term.

Remember, according to Stoltenberg, Germany and other NATO countries should continue to provide arms to Ukraine – this is the fastest way to peace.
