The Kremlin said Friday that Russian soldiers and officials stationed in the annexed Ukrainian territories will not be required to declare their income to the treasury, increasing incentives for those who go to fight in Ukraine.
“This will affect those who work in the (four) territories” annexed in September, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, referring to the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions of Ukraine, where the main fighting is taking place.
The Russian government has already published on Thursday evening a decree by Russian President Vladimir Putin on the “features” of anti-corruption rules “for individual citizens participating in a special military operation” in Ukraine.
According to this text, the military, police and security forces, in addition to other officials, will not have “the obligation to provide information about their income, expenses and property.”
And those who are currently present in Ukrainelike those in previous months, after the start of the Russian military offensive on 24 February.
“Your partners and minor children” will also receive this tax credit.
Incentives to fight
This measure is added to the numerous incentives given by the Russian government to its citizens to go to war in Ukrainesuch as promises of bonuses, banking services, and substantial financial assistance to families in the event a soldier is killed or injured in combat.
The Kremlin also announced that soldiers and officials could receive “awards and donations” if they were “of a humanitarian nature” and “were received in connection with activities related to a military operation” in Ukraine.
AT Russiaconvictions of soldiers and leaders of the military-industrial complex for corruption or misappropriation of public funds are common.

The specialist said that adults have a lot of stress because of the insecurities they have about their jobs, about their belongings, about not getting anything in the midst of a stop and a protest. He added that this situation is very frustrating for people and hopes that everything will go better are dwindling.
