US authorities They arrested a man last night suspicious for the murder last November of four university students in a small town Moscowin the state of Idaho.
“These killings have shocked our community and no amount of arrests will bring back young students,” the local police chief explained on Friday. James Fryat a press conference.
arrested 28 year old student named Brian Christopher Kochbergerwho was arrested by the FBI in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania.
Kolbergwho lives in Pullman, Washington, is a student at the University of Washington.
The suspect is currently being held in Pennsylvania without bail and the state of Idaho will seek his transfer to stand trial in the area where the attacks occurred. Authorities warned that the process could be delayed.
Police did not explain a possible motive for the crime, nor did they reveal what Kochberger was doing in Idaho at the time of the murders.
The Moscow crime shocked a small American town where many students live on the campus of the University of Idaho.
On November 13, local authorities, responding to the alarm, found the bodies of four young people (three women and one man) with stab wounds in their beds.
The Moscow police warned that the investigation would be lengthy, and in total more than 100 agents were involved in the case, including local, state and FBI.
This Friday, agents apologized for the lack of information, assuring that an investigation was underway.
