Despite widespread state terrorist attacks, there were no blackouts on New Year’s Eve in Ukraine.
The situation in the energy system of Ukraine, despite the new massive shelling of the aggressor country Russia, remains under control. Emergency shutdowns are not applied. This was reported by Ukrenergo.
“The past 24 hours have been difficult for electrical engineers. After the 11th massive missile attack on December 31, without reaching its global goal of leaving Ukrainians without electricity for the New Year, the enemy will almost immediately strike the next blow,” the message said.
The company noted that on New Year’s Eve, Ukraine’s energy system had been subjected to 13 massive drone attacks.
“The air defense of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of other parts of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, in total, destroyed 45 strike UAVs. Power engineers are doing everything possible to ensure that the New Year’s holiday has light without restrictions,” added Ukrenergo.
It was also noted that additional volumes of electricity for household consumers were provided due to the conscious behavior of the Ukrainian business and restrictions on the work of the industry.
“Don’t forget about the need to conserve energy!” – Called the energetics.
