Under the procedural leadership of the prosecutor’s office of the Nikolaev region, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). This was reported by the Office of the Attorney General.
According to the investigation, on December 31, the armed forces of the Russian Federation launched rocket attacks on one of the residential areas of the city of Nikolaev. According to preliminary data, four people were injured as a result of the attack, but information about the victims was specified.

Earlier it was reported that as a result of the shelling of Nikolaev, six people were injured.
