The government extended the deferment of military service during the mobilization period.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended for three months the postponement from conscription for military service during mobilization, which is provided earlier by decisions of the Ministry of Economy to those liable for military service. This was announced by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.
In a government meeting, in the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on November 4, 2022 N 1259 On the extension of the validity period of deferment from conscription for military service during mobilization changes are made.
“The period of deferment from military service during the period of mobilization, granted to those liable for military service by the relevant decisions of the Ministry of Economy in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of 03.03.2022 N 194, has been granted. Some issues of booking persons liable for military service under the legal regime of martial lawand terms that have not yet expired, are automatically extended by three months.
It should be noted that on December 2, the government extended by one month the postponement of conscription during the mobilization period.
Even earlier, on November 10, the Cabinet of Ministers extended by one month the postponement from conscription for military service for military reserve soldiers.
