Not a single European leader, with the exception of French President Emmanuel Macron, has raised the issue of security guarantees for the aggressor country Russia. This is what Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said in an interview for RBC-Ukraine, published on Friday, December 30.
“Except for President Macron, I have not heard this idea from anyone (about security guarantees for Russia – ed.),” said Kuleba.
He noted that in fact the President of France has done many useful things for Ukraine. In this context, the diplomat recalled that the Crotale air defense systems arrived recently, during which President Volodymyr Zelensky personally spoke with Macron.
“Macron has done a lot so that Ukraine can protect itself from Russia and defeat Russia. But when it comes to ideological matters related to Russia, that is, European politicians – and there is President Macron,” insisted the Foreign Minister. state.
