In the past day, the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the invaders in the areas of 11 settlements.
The troops of the Russian Federation are trying to advance in the direction of Bakhmut, and are also working to improve the tactical situation in the directions of Liman and Kupyansk. This was announced on December 30 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning report.
The units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Stelmakhivka, Belogorovka, Lugansk region and Soledar, Ivanovskoye, Kleschievka, Kamenka, Avdeevka, Vesele, Vodyane, Krasnogorovka and Maryinka in the region of Donetsk.
Over the past day, the enemy has launched 85 missiles and 35 air strikes, as well as 63 shelling from multiple launch rocket systems.
“The risk of air and missile strikes on the country’s critical infrastructure remains. Russian invaders continue to terrorize the civilian population of Ukraine,” the General Staff insisted.
The situation remains stable in the directions of Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky and Slobozhansky, no signs of the formation of offensive groups of the enemy have been found.
In another direction, the enemy opened fire on peaceful communities from various types of weapons.
The previous day, the Ukrainian aviation carried out 12 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, military equipment of the invaders, as well as a strike on the position of the anti-aircraft missile system.
Rockets and artillery units hit five command posts and five areas of concentration of enemy manpower and ammunition.
Remember, on December 29, the Russian Federation lost 104,560 soldiers in Ukraine, as well as 3,018 tanks, 283 aircraft and 268 helicopters.
