Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has announced that he will formally request an exception this Monday. Russia Security Council United Nations.

The UN Charter does not provide for the possibility of depriving a permanent member of the Security Council of its status and veto power.
To expel a country from the organization, two-thirds of the members of the General Assembly must vote in favor, and the decision must be ratified by the Security Council.
