The head of state expressed gratitude to the Italian government for its support and solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the Prime Minister of Italy Giorgi Maloney for unity and full support for Ukraine. This was stated in his message published on his Telegram channel on Tuesday, December 27.
The Ukrainian head of state also appreciated the allocation of an additional 10 million euros of assistance by the Italian government.
“George Maloney announced consideration of providing air defense systems to protect Ukraine’s skies,” he added.
In addition, the parties discussed the peace formula proposed earlier by Zelensky.
As previously reported, Zelensky had a phone conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
