“The SBU discovered traitors, hostile agitators and collaborators operating in the Internet space. Today we have almost 1,200 criminal proceedings against them, 600 defendants have been reported on suspicion and almost 230 have been sentenced by others’ t another term of imprisonment,” said Ilya Vityuk.
Vityuk noted that today information sabotage does not pose a threat as before, especially because the SBU tries to work in advance, instead of facing the consequences, and conducts special information operations aimed at reducing influence of Russian propaganda. .
“This year, 45 large bot farms with a capacity of more than 2 million fake accounts, almost 500 pro-Russian Youtube channels with an audience of more than 15 million subscribers, and almost a thousand sources of information that worked against Ukraine already has. blocked,” said Ilya Vityuk.
In addition, he noted that the strong cyber resistance in Ukraine is the result of the cooperation of many people and organizations, and called the Ukrainians “a real cyber TRO.”
