“The Government of Bulgaria, after reviewing her candidacy, as is customary in international practice, immediately granted the agreement to Ms. Ilashchuk, without any reservations regarding her work in Bulgaria,” the report said.
The Foreign Ministry also noted that the appointment of non-professional diplomats to the position of ambassadors is a common international practice.
“In Ukraine, over the past two years, all non-professional diplomats appointed to the positions of ambassadors have shown worthy work results. It is only through them, and not through interpretations and insults, that one should judge the work of an ambassador. abroad,” said the ministry’s comment.
It was also reported that Olesya Ilashchuk received a diploma with honors in the specialty Country Studies Department of International Relations, Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations, Yuriy Fedkovich Chernivtsi National University.
