The former head of the Russian state corporation Roskosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, removed a fragment in the region of the cervical spine in one of the hospitals in the Moscow region. This was reported by the Russian propaganda news agency RIA Novosti citing Rogozin’s assistant.
The media claimed that “the operation was successful” and that Rogozin immediately after it was “recovering.”
The assistant previously stated that Rogozin was wounded above the right shoulder near the spine in the shelling of a hotel in Donetsk. According to him, the former head of Roskosmos was injured by a metal fragment measuring 8 by 6 mm, and in addition, he received a shock shock.
Rogozin was taken to a hospital in the Moscow region. Doctors in Rostov-on-Don previously hesitated to perform the operation because of its complexity.
Rogozin’s assistant also clarified that two more of the injured military advisers are in serious condition in Donetsk, the third has been transferred to a hospital in Rostov-on-Don.
