There are 700 humanitarian organizations operating in Ukraine, including both international agencies and local non-governmental organizations and charitable foundations.

Since February 24, 13.6 million Ukrainians have received humanitarian aid from various organizations. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.

“Today there are 700 humanitarian organizations operating in our country, including both international agencies and local non-governmental organizations and charitable foundations. This is 5 times more than 10 months ago. For more in half of humanitarian operators, the main activity remains food and provision of basic needs and means of livelihood,” the ministry said in a statement.

Since the start of the war, UN agencies and their partners have provided humanitarian assistance worth more than US$3 billion. A third of these funds were paid in the form of cash assistance, more than 5 million Ukrainians received it.

Recall that the head of the White House and the Ukrainian leader held a joint press conference, where the US leader said that support for Ukraine in the war with Russia will only grow. Biden announced the allocation of aid to Ukraine from USAID.
