Russia could use the May 9 parade to announce mass mobilization to “fight Nazism”.
Vladimir Putin could use the Russian Victory Day parade on May 9 to announce the massive mobilization of his reserves for a decisive blow to Ukraine. This was announced on Friday, April 29, by British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace, the Daily Mail reports.
He admitted that the Russian president could declare a new war on the world’s “Nazis” in a parade that marked the end of Russia’s involvement in World War II in Moscow.
“I wouldn’t be surprised that he was likely to declare that‘ we are now at war with the Nazis of the world, and we need to do a massive mobilization of the Russian people, ’” Wallace said.
“Putin, who has failed in almost every way, could try to combine what he has and become a kind of cancer within the country,” he added.
At the same time, Wallace noted that he did not have exact information that Putin intended to make such a statement, however, because of Putin’s rhetoric, he admitted that it was possible.
“I think he’s going to try to leave his ‘special operation’. He’s rolling on the field, setting the stage for him to say: Look, now it’s a war against the Nazis, and I need more people. “I need more Russian cannons. Fodder,” Wallace said.
At the same time, Wallace urged to help Ukrainians.
Recall that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in a conversation with the Polish media, spoke about the high risk of concluding negotiations with Russia.
