It is not possible to send identification documents by mail at this time. The exception is passports.
The Ministry of Reintegration proposed to allow the sending of identity documents by mail. This was reported on Sunday, December 25, on the ministry’s website.
They noted that the current ban on sending passports creates problems for Ukrainians who leave the temporarily occupied territory for third countries without documents.
The Ministry of Reintegration is proposed to make appropriate changes to the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers.
“This will allow postal services to send identity documents and confirmation of Ukrainian citizenship. And, in particular, a certificate of return to Ukraine. Which is very important for our compatriots who have gone to third countries ,” the ministry explained.
It should be noted that a draft law on the termination of Ukrainian citizenship from the date of filing an application for withdrawal from it has been submitted to the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
Recall that the government of Ukraine has authorized the transfer of personal data of citizens outside the country through the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services (Diya).
