Russia’s dictator says Russia is moving in the “right direction” in Ukraine as the US-led West seeks to divide Russia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has said Russia is ready to negotiate with all parties involved in the war in Ukraine, but Kyiv and its Western allies have refused to participate in negotiations, Reuters reports.
“We are ready to negotiate with all interested parties about acceptable solutions, but this is their business – it is not us who refuse negotiations, but they,” Putin said in an interview with the television channel of state Rossiya 1.
Putin said Russia was moving in the “right direction” in Ukraine as the US-led West sought to divide Russia.
“I believe that we are moving in the right direction, we are defending our national interests, the interests of our citizens, our people. And we have no other choice but to protect our citizens,” Putin said.
Remember, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg noted that the Kremlin’s actions indicate Russia’s plans to continue the offensive against Ukraine, and that the invitation to negotiations is just an attempt to buy time for preparations .
