Such actions can be both “flexing muscles” and preparation for a missile strike, says Natalya Gumenyuk.

On Saturday evening, December 24, Russia launched an additional Caliber launch vehicle into the Black Sea. Now their number has grown to four. This was announced by the head of the Joint Press Center of the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalia Gumenyuk, on the air of the all-Ukrainian news telethon.

“As of this morning, 3 launch vehicles were recorded, one of which was underwater, and in the evening another underwater launch vehicle joined them. The total potential salvo so far is 24 Kalibr-type missiles, 4 units of launch vehicles are part of the ship grouping, its total number has increased to 14 units,” she said.

According to him, such actions on the part of the aggressor country can be “both a game of muscles and attempts to put pressure on their presence, or direct preparation for a massive missile strike.”

“But you don’t have to be afraid, you have to understand and realize that they will probably want to ruin the holidays for us, because they have no one. You have to be ready for this and understand that it will take time to remove the consequences, and therefore you must have a supply of food, water and essentials,” he added.

It will be remembered, the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Saturday afternoon, December 24, that the Russian Federation has put three ships on duty in the Black Sea battle.
