The funicular project in Bordeaux is falling apart

While Emmanuel Macron intends to develop a “metropolitan RER” in dozens of major cities, the metropolis of Bordeaux will soon be complete with… an urban cable car. From 2028, suspended cabins will pass through the city sky, seventy meters above Garon. Two to three kilometers of cables will connect the towns of Señon and Lormont, on the heights of the right bank, with the Cite du Vin district, below on the left bank.
