Emma THOMPSON: – The first thing that comes to mind is the day I received the script from Cathy Brand. We’ve been friends ever since Nanny McPhee. He got a little scared on the phone. He said: “I wrote something for you, but I don’t know if you’ll like it yet.” I found his script great! It was sensitive and well written, full of joy and sadness. You felt guilt, shame.
