Holly Bush, Hampstead
This is the quintessential address in this affluent and residential area of North West London. The spaces are spacious (yet intimate), timelessly chic and offer different environments depending on the room: relaxed on the ground floor, elegant upstairs. In fact, the upstairs room resembles a restaurant room: white linen tablecloths, candles, chandeliers in the windows, chandeliers. On the service side, he is diligent and attentive. and the kitchen is neat. For starters, we recommend cauliflower, truffle and Oxford blue soup; delicious! A special note on the very good value for money of this pub. A short wait is expected in return.
We go there for: the inescapable nature of this address, which serves as the headquarters of a posh neighborhood. In addition, the pub is a five-minute walk from Hampstead Heath Park (home to the very beautiful Kenwood House, a not-to-be-missed former widow’s house, especially with its rich collection of paintings by the masters. ).
fun facts In total, the pub has three fireplaces.

Well-known to regulars on Regent’s Canal (one of London’s most beautiful walks, by the way), the Narrow Boat is an ideal base in the Angel and Islington boroughs. The address has enough authenticity to please everyone and has come with a pleasing regularity over the years. Plus, the venues are ‘dog friendly’ (like most pubs) and provide suitable treats for our four-legged friends. As for the plate, the dishes are invigorating, in the purest tradition of British pubs. A safe bet.
We go there for: the atmosphere is calm, but fashionable and always lively; for the view overlooking the canal and Wenlock Basin, which is especially noticeable from the ground floor of the inn; and for the regularity of the kitchen. Note that St Pancras station is one tube stop from Angel; good to know for those coming direct from Eurostar.
Our advice: remember to book! Especially if you plan to come on a Sunday for the famous Sunday roast…
Majority : the space on the upper floor is suitable for customers with wheelchairs.

This establishment is a classic in the Paddington district of North West London. Located a stone’s throw from the train station of the same name and a five-minute walk from Hyde Park, Victoria has a cosy, warm and friendly decor, perfect for a beer or a bite to eat. The menu is good, the wait for the dishes is not too long, and the tables near the fireplace are ideal. Unfortunately, they always storm, inevitably. But if you can manage to get one of these, especially one that sits right in front of the fireplace, you’ll be just fine. With the impression of experiencing a real moment of British enthusiasm.
We go there for: the sense of authenticity of this pub, which has remained in its original state, attracting both local regulars and tourists; for the family friendly side, and of course the dog friendly side of the establishment; and because Hyde Park is nearby. Please note that the facility has several rooms upstairs.

Located along the River Lea Navigation (an ultra-bucolic promenade in south-east London, Clapton), the Princess of Wales pub sits on a riverfront with colorful boats peacefully scattered across it. From the autumn frosts, the institution lights its fireplace to the delight of the cold people. Here again, invigorating cuisine and warm atmosphere are the key words of this bar address, whose success is undeniable. And as always, remember to book, especially if you plan to go there on a Sunday. The Sunday roast there is no idle talk…
We go there for: walk along the river; happy atmosphere; the generosity of dishes.

The perfect address for a beer after a stroll down Brick Lane, this carpeted pub (rare) and lined with lots of picture frames is incredibly authentic. We love the atmosphere, always extremely lively; Crowds of customers do not hesitate to pour onto the sidewalk of this small street perpendicular to Brick Lane. In fact, the pride of Spitalfields is a very relaxed, laid-back local establishment in which to drink and relax. Inside, several sofas upholstered in red velvet rub shoulders with stools, all by the fireplace. Note that people mostly go there for drinks, although the pub also serves sandwiches.
We go there for: the atmosphere It is typical of a neighborhood pub due to its regular customers and cozy and retro decor. We also go there because the address, which has been around for decades, is very close to the trendy district of Shoreditch, where there is so much to do and see (including the charming Spitalfields Market or Redchurch Street). Note that the facility does not have a website confirming its status as an eternal resting place.

As well as…
The list of London pubs with fireplaces is not limited to this, consider also Cadogan Arms in Chelsea; or at a gastropub Pink at Fulham; but also charming grapes, in Limehouse (which is also a great place to walk in East London, with a nearby harbor filled with colorful boats); there is also friendly Morgan Arms, in the Bow district (again, East London, right next to Regent’s Canal), where the fireplace and decor are worth bypassing, while the plate is neat. Also note Mayflower, the tambourine with its beautiful vases. Finally, we can’t help but mention the bar Rosewood London (Holborn); if it’s not strictly pando, the wild fireplace is phenomenal and the atmosphere is worthy of a high-end place in town.
