It’s only a few days, but almost as impressive as some countries in the Old Continent. Listenburg, whose birth certificate came in the form of a tweet from the self-proclaimed president of the republic on October 30, Gaspardo, had the Internet in a frenzy all weekend. Let’s take the time to explore this expanse of the Iberian Peninsula, almost as big as Spain, and its five imaginary provinces: Flucerde, Custerde, Mittelland, Cazeire and Adrias.
Arrival
It is often said that all roads lead to Rome. For the past few days they all seem to be leading to Listenburg. Whether on Twitter, Instagram, Discord or even Tik Tok, everyone is going crazy over it. As for the administrative procedures for entering the territory, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the country invites the traveler to contact them before any stay. Who knows, the key, a new stamp in your passport.
There are several ways to get there: plane, train or road. Once there, the traveler is encouraged to go to the Société des Trains et Chemins de Fer du Listenbourg, which announces itself modestly: “better than SNCF”. Be careful though. Recently there was an accident in Osatry with heavy casualties. Despite everything, all train lines resumed normal traffic.
What to visit?
A newborn country, Listenburg has everything to offer. And even a real artistic heritage. The works of some great local artists such as the painter Heinrich Lester are in evidence. We discover his works in the newly established Listenburg Art Museum. The facility is open daily from 10 am to 8 pm.
Would you rather go for a walk? Looks like a small detour to Listenburgh National Park has been found. And, good news, unlike in France, where the sky is gray, the sun still shines in the skies of Listenburg.
Good restaurants
When it comes to gastronomy, Listenbourg doesn’t cut corners. Profession? Greek sandwich. And don’t count on using it to save money. As the head of the country regrets, its maintenance requires spending about twenty euros. “Abused,” he freed himself, a philosopher.
And to knock off the few thousand calories saved, the Basic Fit franchise has just announced the opening of its first facility in Listenburg. It is enough to satisfy great athletes… spirit.
