Full National Electoral Jury (JNE) recognize the complaint filed by the legal representative as unfounded Country Success against the decision of the Special Electoral Jury of Central Lima, which declared inadmissible the registration of his list to the Metropolitan of Lima, headed by Luis Molina.
By means of a resolution published on the relevant portal, JNE determined that Country Success failed to correct the remarks made by JEE Lima Centro to apply for Regional and municipal elections – 2022.
He clarified that the person did not digitally sign several attachments corresponding to some alderman candidates. In addition, he did not sign Luis Molina’s license request without payment, a requirement detailed in Regulations on registration of lists of candidates for the October elections.
Refusal to advance the country
In this regard, the group Country Success expressed his disagreement with the resolution National Electoral Jury which ratifies the decision of the JEE Lima Centro and leaves said party without a Lima candidate in the municipal elections.
In a statement, the party indicated that the decision JNE was not based on unlimited respect Constitution and the law also stated that the principles had been violated “in the name of a formalism that undermines the right to free political participation”.
“The members of the list completed the correct submission of all documents stipulated by the electoral regulations, with a handwritten signature and fingerprints, however, due to the formality of the EDS, we were excluded from the election race,” they said from Country Success.
Along with this, he stated that Louis Molinawho is currently mayor of the Miraflores district, was “one of the most suitable candidates” for the post of mayor of the Lima Metropolitan Municipality.
