The perpetrator attacked a law firm located on the third level of the Plaza de Armas gallery, in the first block of Jirón Huallaga, opposite government palace. The crime happened last Saturday, July 16.
The perpetrator took advantage of the fact that the studio was empty to force the main door and then break into the offices. In a matter of minutes, he took the computer, laptops, watches and other valuables.
The gallery’s surveillance cameras recorded the thief leaving the premises, carrying the loot in a black bag.
Indignation
In dialogue with RPP newslawyer Edgar Salasone of the partners of the above study, was outraged by the victim of the robbery, given that it took place a few meters from the Government Palace.
“This is outrageous and amazing. Three doors (of offices) are broken, in front of government palace, 80 meters from the President of the Republic. These guards do not serve to control the social order that should exist in our society,” he said.
“I have been working here for almost thirty years and have never been the victim of a robbery. This is not only outrageous, but amazing; (…) In front of the government, (the criminal) left “like Pedro to his home” with a black bag, taking away a computer, laptops, watches that are of value to you, which harms us,” he said.
The lawyer showed the premises of the studio: the doors were forced open, in some cases the locks were broken. The offender also made a big mess, rushing to take out valuables.
