On Thursday, a devastating fire started by a careless neighbor engulfed 300 hectares (equivalent to 400 football fields) in Generac, a small town near Nîmes in Garde.

Fanned by winds, the fire rose at 1,800 meters per hour, burning forests, vineyards and the Numa Kornut faith. “4-5 hectares of our vineyards were already burned three years ago after the arson, the author of which was never found.laments Numa Cornut, bitter.
