Cercado de Lima: Trans woman shot to death by alleged foreign pimps

BUT trans woman was shot dead this morning by alleged foreign pimps at the height of the 13th block of Avenue Petit-Toire, in Lima Fence.

“The one who charged (quotas) earlier, I think, is now in prison. Now I think that it is the Venezuelans who take the quotas, they all pay the quotas. I understand it. I think they pay 150 to 200 a week,” he said.

Tren de Aragua in Peru?

Another friend of “Sharon” noted that a few days ago, trans women working as prostitutes received a WhatsApp message requiring them to pay quotas in order to be able to work. In the text, the alleged pimps identify themselves as members of Tren, which may be a reference to the dangerous Venezuelan mega-group. “Train Aragua”.

“From today, all the pages of Peru are occupied by the “Train”. All trans women who want to work should line up as women do,” the message says.

This attack on a prostitute is not an isolated case in Lime. On March 22, a trans sex worker was shot dead in Lurin for refusing to pay quotas; and a few weeks ago in Cercado de Lima, two prostitutes were shot dead in Giron Zepit, also for refusing to pay quotas.
