Singer Jonathan Montesinosposing as salsa singer Tito Nieves claims he was threatened extortionistswho threaten to attack his youngest daughter.
Through RPP newsthe artist pointed out that the perpetrators had originally asked for five thousand sols, but after failing to raise that amount, the perpetrators lowered their demands to SG$3,000.
According to him, extortion began when he arrived in Lime from Arequipawhere he has been living for the past three years, working in various nightclubs, imitating Titus Snow.
“I had a normal life and now I’ve been extorted here for a month. They sabotaged my work, I was robbed and beaten at the exit from the discos,” he said.
Daughter threats
Jonathan Montesinos He stated that the threats have become more violent since last Friday, to the point that the extortionists talk about the attack on his youngest daughter.
“I live for music, I support my daughter with music. It’s him and me, alone. I am a single father. I don’t have the resources to keep going without music,” he said.
