Chorrillos: A fire has been reported in a building adjacent to the UPC campus.

Fire code 1 was registered at facilities adjacent to the university campus this afternoon. University of Applied Sciences (UPC) in Chorrillos, according to the National Emergency Center.

About 8 fire brigades take part in the emergency situation, according to the agency’s website. The damaged premises are located in Block 2 of Alameda San Marcos Avenue.

University of Applied Sciences (UPC) clarified in a statement that the fire occurred at a location adjacent to its campus in Village of Chorrilloswhere no human or material damage was recorded.

“The premises and buildings of our campus were not affected, so the start date for tomorrow, Monday, March 20 this year, will be saved,” the home of study said.
